Pho 75 In Aurora At Center Of Lawsuit After E. Coli Outbreak

AURORA, Colo. (CBS4)- The Pho 75 restaurant in Aurora is at the center of a lawsuit after an E. coli outbreak. Four people became seriously ill after eating there.

Those who became ill include a 14-year-old boy who ate at the restaurant at 2050 S. Havana Street in May. The teens illness became so bad that he had to be admitted to the intensive care unit at Sky Ridge Pediatric Hospital.

His kidneys started to fail because of the E. coli. His family is suing the restaurant for damages.

The Tri County Health Department shut down the restaurant earlier this week but it reopened on Thursday.

Inspectors will be checking in weekly for the next month.
