Peyton Manning Visits Boy Who Was Hit By Truck

LAFAYETTE, Colo. (CBS4) - A young boy who was badly injured after getting struck by a vehicle in Lafayette got a surprise visit from one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time.

According to Chelsea Romero, on Tuesday her son Jordan, 8, was struck by a truck while riding his bike.

"He has now suffered a broken arm and a broken hip. He has had to get stitches in three different places on his body and is in a tremendous amount of pain. He has road burn, is bruised and has cuts all over his whole body," Romero said on the family's GoFundMe page.

Former Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning stopped by the hospital to visit with Jordan.

The family is asking for help with their medical bills since Jordan's parents will be missing work as they help with his recovery.
