Peyton Manning Honored At ESPY Awards
DENVER (CBS4) - Peyton Manning continues to win awards, even in retirement.
He received the Icon Award, given to retired athletes, at Wednesday night's ESPY Awards alongside soccer star Abby Wambach and now-retired NBA star Kobe Bryant.
The three were chosen for "the indelible mark they have made on the world of sports," ESPN said in a press release.
Justin Timberlake presented the three honorees, the most to receive the award at one time.
Manning has won several ESPY Awards in a variety of categories over the years, including best college football player, best record-breaking performance, and best NFL player.
