KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (CBS4) - Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning has his summer vacation figured out. He went back to Knoxville for his annual charity golf tournament.

Manning is enjoying his down-time and wasn't interested in talking the Broncos or the upcoming season.

But University of Tennessee football? Well that's different.

"Tennessee folks truly keep up with players that played here, whether you were from here or not," Manning said. "Obviously I'm from New Orleans but I feel very much like a Tennessean and different places that I played, different NFL stadiums, you still see always a Tennessee jersey in the stands, someone wearing it. So there's always that connection"

Manning will be back with the Broncos when training camp begins at the end of July.
