Pete's Kitchen Owner Pete Conto Leaves Behind Restaurant Legacy

DENVER (CBS4)- The man behind Pete's Kitchen and other institutions in Denver has passed away. Pete Contos started in the restaurant business nearly six decades ago.
Pete's Kitchen has been at the corner of Colfax and Race for 30 years. His first restaurant, Satire Lounge, has been next to Pete's Kitchen for nearly 60 years.
Contos was 85 years old. He passed away on Sunday.
