Pete Buttigieg Drops Out Of Presidential Race 1 Week After Campaigning In Colorado
DENVER (CBS4) - Democratic presidential candidate Pete Buttigieg dropped out of the presidential race on Sunday, one week after campaigning in Colorado.
Buttigieg made the announcement Sunday night in South Bend, Indiana.
Buttigieg rose to the field's top tier but failed to notch enough wins in the critical early states necessary to keep his bid moving forward.

Volunteers in Denver were in the middle of hosting a "Pete for America" benefit concert on Sunday when the news broke. They were collected art supplies to donate to schools in the name of Pete's campaign.
"I already know he had a lot of momentum here. It would have been nice to see how he would have fared in Super Tuesday. Now from here on out it's about what he's going to do in the future and it's about the other candidates," said Pete Buttigieg Supporter Collin McGann.
