Pet Store Owners Plead Not Guilty To Animal Cruelty Charges

BRIGHTON, Colo. (CBS4) - The owners of a Thornton pet store pleaded not guilty to animal cruelty charges on Monday morning.

Lynn Kubic along with her husband Kenneth and son Brian face a total of 97 misdemeanor charges related to the store Jurassic Pets.

They are accused of freezing rodents and animals alive, among other charges, at the store on the 10,300 block of Washington Street.

The three suspects entered their pleas in Adams County Court and will be back in court for a hearing on May 8.
