Performer Banged Up In Colorado Crash Appears On Late Night TV With Cast

DENVER (CBS4) - The performer who was among those who was hurt in a multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 70 last month made an appearance on late-night TV last night.

George Lewis, Jr., also known as Twin Shadow, was hurt on April 17 when his tour bus crashed in heavy fog into a semi truck at I-70 and E-470 in Aurora.

His band had to cancel their show they had scheduled at the Bluebird Theater in Denver that night.

Twin Shadow performed on the NBC program Late Night with Seth Meyers with two of his bandmates and a large cast on his right arm. After the song he shook the host's hand with his left hand.

Earlier, Twin Shadow posted an image on Facebook showing the pins that had to be placed in his arm during surgery because of his injury from the crash.

Other members of the band were also among the 12 who were hurt. The driver of the bus, John Crawford, 41, was pinned and had to be rescued. He suffered serious injuries.
