Passenger Taken Off Plane In Denver After Kicking, Screaming

DENVER (AP) - Authorities say a passenger was removed from a Frontier Airlines plane at Denver International Airport after she dropped to the floor of the aircraft and began kicking and screaming before the plane took off.

Denver police spokesman Sonny Jackson said Wednesday the incident was a medical episode. No other details have been released.

Jackson says the woman was hospitalized. He says no charges have been filed.

The incident occurred Monday.

Frontier spokesman Jim Faulkner says the plane was bound for Portland, Oregon. He says the plane was taxiing before takeoff when the incident occurred, and it returned to the terminal where police stepped in.

Faulkner says no one else on the plane was endangered.
