Osweiler To Remain Broncos' Starting Quarterback Against Patriots

DENVER (CBS4) - Brock Osweiler will be the starting quarterback next week when the Denver Broncos face the New England Patriots.

Broncos Head Coach Vance Joseph made the announcement at a news conference on Monday, after Sunday's 51-23 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.

"Brock deserves one more week to prove he's the guy for us," Joseph said Monday.

After a poor offensive performance on in Kansas City in Week 8, Broncos coach Vance Joseph decided to replace Trevor Siemian with Osweiler in Week 9.

Osweiler was 19 of 38 for 208 yards and one TD. He took three sacks and threw two picks.
