OrthoPets Receives Big Donation For Bionic Dogs

DENVER (CBS4)- A Denver-based pet prosthetic company won a small business award and a big donation while featuring their amazing success stories.

OrthoPets received $25,000 from the Small Business Revolution. OrthoPets makes prosthetic legs for animals.

A few of the puppy patients were at the award ceremony on Wednesday evening.

The Small Business Revolution is a campaign presented by Deluxe Corp. which celebrates the impact of small businesses nationwide.

OrthoPets is located in Westminster and the founder, Martin Kauffman, was surprised with the award and special appearance of the so-called bionic dogs.

Kauffman was presented with an oversized $25,000 check at The Watering Bowl tavern and dog park in Denver.
