'One In A Million' Quadruplets Born Healthy At CU Hospital

AURORA, Colo. (CBS4) - Melissa Reid and her husband already had five children between them when they got a big surprise -- Melissa was pregnant. But that wasn't all. She was pregnant with quadruplets -- without any help from modern medicine.

CBS4 first reported last week on the the Reid quadruplets who were conceived without any fertility treatment. On Monday the quads were born at the University of Colorado Hospital.

Ryder Lee Reid was the first born and the smallest at 2 pounds, 14 ounces. Aela Ann was next at 4 pounds, 1 ounce. Kamden Chad weighed in at 3 pounds, 2 ounces. And Brinlee Diane entered the world at 3 pounds, 7 ounces.

The babies were born by caesarian section. The proud parents are both fine. Mom is getting rest while she can.
