Olympic Wrestler Accused Of Poaching Deer At Lexus Dealership

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (CBS4) - An Olympic wrestler was arrested near a Lexus dealership after hunting a deer with a bow and arrow.

Dremiel Byers, 39, was charged with several hunting and wildlife violations by the Department of Wildlife, which was called by Colorado Spring police to assist.

Bystanders called police as they observed Byers hunting the deer near the dealership. The animal had been struck by an arrow, police said.

Byers, a decorated Greco-Roman wrestler, could face hundreds of dollars in fines and potential loss of hunting privileges for poaching.
