Denver Police Shoot, Kill Armed Man Near CBS4 Station
DENVER (CBS4) - Denver police are investigating after an officer shot an armed man near the CBS4 station Monday morning. One witness recorded video of the gunman walking at Lincoln Street and 9th at about 7:10 a.m.
Lincoln Street was closed from 9th to 14th for investigation. Officers were seen taking down crime scene tape at 10th Avenue at around 4 p.m.

The man walked up Lincoln, and CBS4 employees saw him harassing drivers along the street. Then they heard gunshots.
Denver police arrived within minutes.

Denver's Police Chief confirmed that the gunman fired off several rounds, but that this television station was not his target.

Officers arrived at the scene of 11th and Lincoln within minutes. The incident ended when officers shot the gunman. He was later pronounced dead.
