Officer Adsit's Son Throws Out First Pitch For Home Opener

DENVER (CBS4) - Coors Field hosted some special guests on the field during the Colorado Rockies Home Opener on Friday. Injured Denver Police Officer John Adsit and his son walked out to the pitchers mound where his son threw out the first pitch.

Adsit is still recovering after being hit by a car while on his bike as he accompanied students back to East High School after a protest in Dec. 2014.

The Rockies are taking on the Chicago Cubs at Coors Field.
