CU Football Players Guilty Of Burglary Get Deferred Sentences

BOULDER, Colo. (CBS4) - Two University of Colorado football players charged with stealing from a dorm room have pleaded guilty to second-degree burglary.

Nu'umotu Falo and Donald Gordon were accused of stealing a computer, video games, and a bottle of prescription cough syrup back in April.

As part of a plea deal they each got two-year deferred sentences. That means if they can stay out of trouble the next two years their guilty pleas will be withdrawn.

Falo and Gordon have been suspended from the CU football team but could be reinstated if they complete the school's restorative justice program.
