No Charges In Sex Assault Investigation Involving Police Officer

DENVER (CBS4)- The charges in the sexual assault investigation involving a Denver police officer and another woman have been dropped.

Denver Police Officer Davin Munk and Angiella Arnot had been investigated in connection to a sexual assault investigation.

Police said based on new evidence, neither individual will be charged.

Police told CBS4 that an internal affairs investigation will be conducted to determine if Munk violated any departmental policies. He remains suspended with pay pending the outcome of the internal investigation.

Munk and Arnot have been released from custody.
