No. 1 Pioneers Dominate Michigan Tech In 1st Game Of Frozen Four
CLEVELAND, Ohio (CBS4) - Denver Pioneers hockey was given the No. 1 seed in the NCAA tournament and the road to the Frozen Four got started Saturday with a matchup against Michigan Tech.
DU started off hot.
DU scored four goals in the first period and never looked back. The Pioneers won 5-2 and face Penn State Sunday afternoon.
