New Sculpture Blooming At DIA Created By Colorado Artist

DENVER (CBS4) - Denver International Airport has a new piece of art it's showing off in the Jeppesen Terminal.

"Denver Lily" created by Colorado artist Price Davis of Price Davis Gallery is a 28-foot tall flower sculpture made out of recycled steel and more than 8,000 one-inch nuts.

"By installing a giant flower sculpture in the center of Jeppesen Terminal, our goal is to surprise and delight passengers during spring, while showcasing a local artist and his talent," DIA's Art and Culture Manager Chris Stevens said in a statement.
