NBA Player Ty Lawson Scheduled To Be Sentenced

DENVER (AP) — Former Denver Nuggets guard Ty Lawson is scheduled to be sentenced on Monday for a drunken-driving case in Colorado.

Lawson pleaded guilty to driving while ability impaired and a lane violation. He faces up to 180 days in jail.

The Indiana Pacers signed the point guard earlier this year despite his troubled past.

In January, when Lawson was with the Houston Rockets, Lawson was suspended for three games without pay for a drunken-driving case in California.
