NASA Calling On Artists Of All Kinds For Work To Send To Space

DENVER (CBS4) - NASA is calling all artists. They want to put artwork, poems, songs, and videos on its latest spacecraft.

Colorado-based Lockheed Martin is building OSIRIS-REx. The spacecraft will launch later this year and go to the asteroid Bennu. It will collect samples of the asteroid which will be sent back to Earth.

NASA is going to put a hard drive full of artists' work onto OSIRIS-REx before it goes into orbit.

For details on how to submit work, visit asteroidmission.org/WeTheExplorers.
