Murder Suspect Arrested After Double Shooting

DENVER (CBS4)- Police in Denver arrested a man they believe shot two people, killing one man, late Wednesday night.

Officers rushed to reports of a shooting about 11:11 p.m. Wednesday in the 13800 block of East Albrook Drive. When police arrived they found two people shot.

The juvenile female victim remained in the hospital Thursday afternoon. The adult male victim died a short time later at the hospital.

Jesse Oliver, 32, has been arrested for investigation of first-degree murder and attempted first-degree murder.

Witnesses tell CBS4 a group was outside arguing, then five shots were fired. Police verify that there was a disturbance before multiple shots were fired.

Oliver's mug shot has not been released because police are still investigating the case.

The identity of the male victim has not been released.
