Mudslide Closes Ramp Onto I-70
WHEAT RIDGE, Colo. (CBS4)- A mudslide closed the on-ramp onto Interstate 70 at Harlan in Wheat Ridge on Wednesday afternoon.
The mudslide blocked the roadway until crews could clear it away. They believe hours of heavy rain on Tuesday and continued rain on Wednesday contributed to the slide.
No one was injured. The ramp reopened after crews cleared the scene.
Barriers were placed in front of where the slide happened to keep more earth from moving onto the ramp.
