Mt. Evans Highway Closes For The Season

CLEAR CREEK COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4) - All of Mount Evans Highway is now closed for the season.

Officials with the Colorado Department of Transportation already closed the top stretch of the popular Highway 5 last month. Now the highway is closed to cars at Echo Lake.

The popular drive will reopen in the spring. CDOT is aiming to have it open the Friday before Memorial Day.
