Mountain Lion Stalks Hiker For 20 Minutes Near Placerville

PLACERVILLE, Colo. (CBS4) - A warning has been issued for hikers in southwestern Colorado after a woman said a mountain lion stalked her for about 20 minutes.

The hiker was on a trail above Down Valley Park in Placerville. Authorities in San Miguel County are now warning others who use that area to be alert.

Authorities say mountain lions stalking humans are extremely rare incidents.
