Mountain Lion Spotted Running Through Parking Lot

PARKER, Colo. (CBS4)- Police in Parker have a warning about mountain lions in populated areas after a big cat was spotted running through the parking lot of a Hobby Lobby.
The Parker police sergeant snapped the photo on Wednesday night at East Main Street and South Parker Road.
Officers and authorities with the Colorado Parks and Wildlife followed the mountain lion but it ran into an open space.
Wildlife officers say mountain lions often follow open space trails and can make their way into urban areas.
