Mount Evans Highway To Open June 1
CLEAR CREEK COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4)- The Mount Evans Highway will open to the summit on Wednesday morning.
The Colorado Department of Transportation had hoped to open the highway to Mount Evans on Tuesday but revised their plans because crews continued to remove drifts from the road.

Mount Evans Highway is the highest paved road in the nation. It starts at Echo Lake and ascends to Summit Lake, then continues on to the summit of the 14,264 foot mountain.
