Wildfire Grows Near Mount Blanca In Costilla County

COSTILLA COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4) - More than two dozen firefighters and air support are working a growing wildfire at the foot of Mount Blanca, near Great Sand Dunes National Park and Preserve. The fire started Tuesday afternoon.

Two planes and a helicopter were making drops to stop the Tobin Fire.

The burn area covers between 30 to 50 acres.

Officials with the Costilla County Sheriff's office said they suspect humans started the fire but the exact nature of how it started is still undetermined.
