Motorcyclist Seriously Injured In Crash In Southeast Denver

DENVER (CBS4) - A motorcyclist has serious injuries after being hit by a car Thursday morning.

The crash happened on the southeast side of Denver at the intersection of East Hampden Avenue and South Dayton Street.

Denver police says the motorcyclist is expected to survive.

The driver of the car was cited for multiple traffic offenses including careless driving.

The victim's name hasn't been released.

The Colorado Department of Transportation is urging motorcyclists to be careful and get training after 92 motorcyclists lost their lives in crashes last year.
