Mother, 2 Kids Go Missing In Highlands Ranch

HIGHLANDS RANCH, Colo. (CBS4) - A Highlands Ranch mother and her two young sons have gone missing.

They were last seen on Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Bear Canyon Elementary School when the mother picked up the kids.

A surveillance video captured an image of the family leaving the school.

The three people were reported missing Tuesday night at approximately 8 p.m. The report came in from near the intersection of North Hampton Court and Hibiscus Drive.

The mother's name is Jennifer Laber, the Douglas County Sheriff said. She is 36 and was described as being white, 5-foot-6, weighing 250 pounds and having brown hair and blue eyes. She was wearing jeans and a purple sweatshirt.

Laber drove away from the school in a silver 2011 Chrysler Town & Country minivan with the license plate 300-RQQ.

The children's are Adam Laber, 3, and Ethan Laber, 5. The descriptions of the boys is as follows:

  • Adam is described as a 3 year old white male, weighing 38lbs, 40" tall, with blond hair and blue eyes. Adam was last seen wearing tan pants with black and blue winter coat.
  • Ethan is described as a 5 year old white male, weighing 40lbs, 42" tall, with light brown hair and blue eyes. Ethan was last seen wearing blue jeans with a gray winter coat.
