More Victims Come Forward After Arvada Mechanic Disappears
ARVADA, Colo. (CBS4) - The number of victims allegedly swindled by an Arvada mechanic continues to grow.
The shop, ironically named Always Available Mobile Mechanics, abruptly closed its doors last month, leaving customers' cars sitting on the street.
Now the owner, Ronald Cox, is no where to be found. He's apparently left several people in a lurch after he disappeared, their vehicles also missing.
Heather Warner claims Cox has her 2003 Ford Expedition. He was supposed to repair the fuel pump in July 2014. She hasn't seen her vehicle since.
"I really need it back. I started a new job, need to get back on the road and I just don't have a vehicle," said Warner.

She said she had brief contact with him but that ended in January.
Another customer, Robert Green, is out more than $600 after Cox took his money but never completed the repairs to his truck. Instead it was towed to the street with more damage than he left it.
"I really need this truck back," said Green.
A former employee of the shop said some of his tools have gone missing with Cox.
Cox has been evicted from his Arvada shop. He also has a lengthy criminal history that includes arrests for fraud and theft.
Cox told CBS4 earlier this month that he would make up for his mistakes and fix the vehicles with his own money. But his customers say they're losing hope.
"I'm relying on other people and it's just scary when something of yours is gone. I'm in fear for me not having a vehicle at the end of the day and not knowing what to do," said Warner.
