DENVER (CBS4) - October 2016 is now tied for the 5th warmest October in Denver since climate records began in 1872.

The average temperature between Oct. 1-25 was 57.0°F.

The following is a list of Denver's Top 5 warmest October's.

59.9°F - 1950
57.9°F - 1963
57.9°F - 1934
57.4°F - 1933
57.0°F - 1947

With 6 more days to go, including two that will likely tie or break records, we're confident that Denver will end October in the Top 5.

Denver's average high for Oct. 26 is 61°F and that falls to 59°F by Halloween. The average low for this time of year is 33°F.
