More Bad News For College America

DENVER (CBS4) - A chain of career colleges has been placed on probation by its accrediting agency.

College America has campuses in Denver, Fort Collins, Colorado Springs and other states. The action was taken by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges. College America told CBS4 says those rates began to drop in 2008 with the recession and it's working towards meeting the levels required by the commission.

A suit against the schools by the Colorado attorney general is still pending.
