Moose Runs Over Woman Walking Dog In Steamboat Springs
STEAMBOAT SPRINGS, Colo. (CBS4) - A woman is recovering in a hospital in Denver after getting injured during an encounter with a moose.
Investigators say the animal injured the woman in the Storm Mountain Ranch subdivision in Steamboat Springs.
The moose ran her over while she was walking her dog on Sunday.
The victim suffered head injuries.
Investigators with Colorado Parks and Wildlife said they are talking to witnesses and the victim to get more information about what happened.
