New Production Of 'Spamalot' Lands In Boulder

BOULDER, Colo. (CBS4) - Critic at Large Greg Moody took a look at a new production of the Tony Award winning musical, 'Spamalot' at Boulder's Dinner Theater.

'Spamalot' is based on the classic movie 'Monty Python And The Holy Grail' and comes from the minds of the movie's creators.

"While the Tony Award winning musical doesn't follow the movie exactly, there are enough lines, bits and characters to make the dearest fan embrace this show," said Moody.

The show stars Wayne Kennedy and Ellie Dumphy.

"What seals the fate of the audience is the wit, the absurdity and the plain hilarious nonsense of it all, and the timing in Boulder is perfect," said Moody.

The show runs now through March 1 at Boulder's Dinner Theater at 55th Street and Arapahoe Avenue in Boulder.

For tickets call 303-449-6000.
