Missing Mesa County Woman & Young Son Found Safe
PALISADE, Colo. (CBS4) - Authorities in Mesa County said a woman and her 1 1/2-year-old child who were reported missing have been found safe.
According to the Mesa County Sheriff's Office, Shannon Kunkel's parents woke up and found a note from her stating she was going into town. She left with her son and they hadn't been seen since Saturday morning.
The Colorado Bureau of Investigation told CBS4 Monday morning Kunkel was found safe but didn't release any other information.
