Military-Style Device Forces Evacuation In Canon City

CANON CITY, Colo. (AP) — Some residents of Canon City were forced to evacuate for several hours after some kind of military-style device was found in the Arkansas River.

Police say the cylindrical device found Sunday had a fuse but not a warhead.
