Military Members Participate In NFL-Style Combine At Broncos Headquarters

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (CBS4) - Denver Broncos training camp started a couple of hours early Friday with about 50 local military members from different service branches participating in an NFL-style combine at the team's indoor facility.

The service members performed events like the 40-yard dash, shuttle run and broad jump before getting to watch practice from a special VIP area.

"We do conditioning, we run our PT tests and squadron events, but nothing that really prepares you these kind of specialized drills," said Carlton Stokes, who is stationed at Schriever Air Force Base. "It's definitely fun, it's definitely a new experience and I'm glad to be here."
