Mile High Holidays Kicks Off For The Season

DENVER (CBS4) - Denver officials on Monday kicked off the annual Mile High Holidays campaign.

It's a campaign full of savings to get people out to enjoy all Denver and Colorado has to offer.

The announcement was made at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts complex, and as part of the fun Mayor Michael Hancock held up Tiny Tim from "A Christmas Carol" while he put a decoration at the top of a Christmas tree.

"A Christmas Carol" runs at the DCPA's Stage Theatre from Nov. 27 through Dec. 27, and it's just one of many holiday themed stage shows in the Denver metro area this holiday season.
