Mesa Verde Illuminates Cliff Palace With Luminarias

MESA VERDE, Colo. (CBS4)- The Cliff Palace at Mesa Verde was illuminated for the holidays in what is a long-standing tradition at the park.

The cliff dwellings were lit with lanterns while luminarias lined the pathways of the headquarters area of the park on Wednesday night.

The luminarias have been a part of the Mesa Verde Holiday Open House since 1988. This year there were more than 4,000 luminarias.
