Broncos Place Menelik Watson On IR

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (CBS4) - The Broncos have placed right tackle Menelik Watson on injured reserve.

Watson hurt his calf late in the first half against the New York Giants on Oct. 15 and then hurt his foot on Sunday in Philadelphia.

He wound up making 7 starts for the Broncos this season.

With the open spot on the roster, the Broncos signed Cyrus Kouandjio, a 6-foot-7, 325-pound offensive lineman who played for the Bills for three seasons. Kouandjio became a free agent after he was cut by the Lions after signing with them in the offseason.
