DENVER (CBS4) - Police in Arapahoe County are searching for a group of thieves who robbed a marijuana dispensary over the weekend.

The crime happened early Sunday afternoon on the 6200 block of East Yale Avenue, near South Monaco. No one was hurt in the incident, and investigators haven't said whether money and pot were stolen or a combination of the two.

"No shots were fired," said Arapahoe County Sgt. Melissa Williams.

Police say one of the people involved in the robbery had a long gun when they walked in through the front door of the business.

The dispensary is named The Cure and an employee and a customer were in the store at the time of the robbery. The suspects were described as being three black men -- all wearing masks -- and one woman who was not. So far there's no description of the suspects beyond that.

A neighbor told CBS4 that a passenger in a getaway car that was parked haphazardly outside of the store yelled at the woman to hurry up and get in the car as she held something bundled in her arms.

The group was driving a white, four-door sedan that is about 10 years old.

The robbery came as no surprise to a neighbor CBS4 interviewed.

"They mostly have to deal in cash I'm sure, because of the laws that exist. The perpetrators or whatever you want to call them know that, so it's basically easy pickins for them," said Randy Rader.
