Meet The 'Board Of Directors' (& No They Don't Actually Run The Broncos)

By Lauren Whitney

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS4)- More and more Denver Broncos fans are flooding into San Francisco, with one group of fans really making a splash.

This orange blazer wearing group calls themselves the "Broncos Board of Directors." Their festive jackets make them look official, often confusing other fans.

Alana Karbo said people often ask if she and her husband are the owners of the team.

They are even popular with Panthers fans. Group leader John Dilday said their Carolina fans even ask to take pictures with them.

Where does one find bright orange blazers? Dilday needed a pair of socks for a wedding last year while in Salt Lake City and went to the local Kohl's store. He spotted something bright orange in the back and asked the sales lady what they were. She showed him 15 orange Blazers. For $50 apiece, he scooped them up and took them home to his friends.

These Blazers are a hot commodity; the board members get many requests to buy them. They aren't for sale, though. They said you have to be a member of the crew to get one.

There is one left, however. When the Broncos win on Sunday, they'll send the last one to coach Gary Kubiak.
