Medical Issue Suspected After Inmate Found Dead In Boulder
BOULDER, Colo. (AP) - Authorities say a woman who was found dead in her cell at the Boulder County Jail likely had a medical issue.
Sheriff's investigators say the 29-year-old woman, whose name has not been released, was found unresponsive during a routine welfare check Friday afternoon. Medical crews performed CPR for more than half an hour with no success.
Jail staff say deputies had checked on the woman about 20 minutes before she was found unresponsive. She was booked into the jail Thursday on felony theft charges.
