McCaslin Bridge Over US 36 Closed This Weekend For New Alignment

LOUISVILLE, Colo. (CBS4) - The McCaslin Boulevard bridge over US 36 will be closed over the weekend for a traffic realignment. The closure begins at 9 p.m. Friday.

During the closure drivers are encouraged to access on US 36 using the ramps at Interlocken Loop.

When the bridge reopens Monday morning at 5:30 it will be in its final alignment creating the first Diverging Diamond Interchange on the Front Range.

CDOT warns drivers that the new traffic pattern will be significantly different. Here is a clip from CDOT explaining the difference:
