McCaffrey: 'I Look Forward To It Every Year' Dare To Play Football, Cheer Camps

HIGHLANDS RANCH, Colo. (CBS4)- Former Denver Broncos Wide Receiver Ed McCaffrey said it's something he looks forward to every year, the "Dare to Play Football and Dare to Cheer Camps" in partnership with the Global Down Syndrome Foundation.

"I look forward to it every year. What a blessing, so many people come together to create an opportunity for individuals with Down syndrome to play the great game of football and also to spread awareness in the community about all the wonderful things individuals with Down syndrome can do, we're trying to dispel a lot of negative stereotypes.

The players and cheerleaders were excited to be there for the big game.

"Well my favorite position is wide receiver like Ed McCaffrey, he's my idol, and I know him personally because of football camp, he's just a great guy and I'm glad to be a part of this," said player Michael Waters.
