Mayor Hancock Gets Ready For Final Weekend Of 'Denver Days'
DENVER (CBS4)- Denver's mayor was out and about in the community for the final weekend of this year's "Denver Days."
Denver Mayor Michael Hancock visited neighbors in advance of Saturday's event that is designed to encourage people to create stronger neighborhoods.
Hancock said he wants to bring people together through community services and block parties.
"When we know one another and those who live in and around us and when we give back to our community, we become a safer and better city," said Hancock.
Denver Days continues through Aug. 10.
