Beloved Colorado Paramedic Mark Smith Honored For Years Of Service

(CBS4) - First responders, family and friends honored Paramedic Battalion Chief Mark Smith on Wednesday. Smith died of COVID-19 on Nov. 7.

He worked for Platte Valley Ambulance Service and was remembered as a teacher, mentor, coach and role model.

Smith was honored for his service over the past 14 years. Fire trucks hoisted an American flag outside Orchard Church. A procession followed the service.
