Manning On Cusp Of 2 Major NFL records

DENVER (AP) - Peyton Manning is active for Denver's game against the Kansas City Chiefs despite sore ribs and a sore right foot.

That gives him a chance to break two NFL milestones held by Brett Favre, for most career passing yards and most wins by a starting quarterback in the regular season.

Manning entered the day with 71,836 yards through the air, 2 shy of Favre's record and tied with Favre with 186 victories.

At 186-78, Manning has the better winning percentage (.705 to .624). Favre lost 112 starts.
