Manning: 'Different' Colorado Laws Good For Pizza Business

DENVER (CBS4) - Pizza and pot go together, at least that's what Peyton Manning is implying.

In a wide-ranging interview with Sports Illustrated published Thursday, the Denver Broncos quarterback answered a question about whether he votes -- "Yeah, I do vote," he says -- and then meandered his way to obliquely addressing marijuana munchies and pizza pie.

"There's some different laws out here in Colorado," the often irreverent Manning said. "Pizza business is pretty good out here, believe it or not, due to some recent law changes."

Colorado voters legalized recreational marijuana in 2012.

At last count, Manning owns 21 Papa John's franchises in the Denver area.

No word yet whether he'll scoop up some Taco Bell franchises.
